Rua – beautiful female saluki mix

Age – approx 2 yo

tts. – 24″

Coming to the UK and into a foster home in Norwich, next week.

Absolutely loves her walks and always likes to walk a bit ahead of me.

She is focused and doesn’t stop for many sniffs only a puddle and poo and then off she goes again. We walk about 5km every evening and she is ahead of me like a pro the whole way. So she is well able to put some mileage behind her.

travels well in the car

loves to be in human company.

loves kids and is very playful and plays with toys

sleeps well at night and long in the morning, she sleeps on the couch in the sitting room. She uses the crate sometimes but really prefers the couch. Can’t blame her lol.

loves her food and it’s a pleasure getting her food bowls ready she’s so delighted and does this dance on her two back legs around me, it’s so adorable and funny at the same time.

clean in the house.

gets on fine with other dogs.

she is quite active and would love to have a go at agility, as Rua is a clever girl. But at the same she also sleeps a lot…typical Sighthound really… busy busy busy and all of a sudden out cold.

Run is a tue lover of cuddles. When I sit down in the evenings she wants to be right beside me and wants to be petted all the time, very affectionate. Run will touch you with her paw for more attention.

Can be left alone for a couple of hours, she just goes to sleep.

can be quite strong on the lead and pulls when something catches her attention (other wise she does walk nicely on the lead)

the last few days I caught her with her nose in my plant pots trying to pull the leaves apart, so just be mindful of that.

no cats.

watch your food, Rua is the typical sighthound, and will steal any sandwiches left out on the counter tops, so don’t leave food out !!

currently in Ireland.

Rua is spayed & vaccinated.
