This all started with Pingu (Di Davies’ hound) getting pancreatitis and Di asking her Facebook Friends if they had any idea about getting tablets into the hound.  Oh, what a sneaky lot you all are and how very clever. 

Many dogs of all breeds suffer from joint pain at some point in their lives. Joint conditions in Greyhounds can be exacerbated by the extreme running, spinning and swerving they indulge in.

Breeds at risk of this potentially fatal condition are middle sized, large or giant breeds with deep narrow chests. Clearly greyhounds are at risk so steps must be taken to prevent the risk.

The build up of plaque on a dogs teeth is how dental disease can start. It is vital that this plaque is removed because even small amounts contain hundreds and millions of bacteria.

From the outside looking in, many wonder why these dogs are so loved. Many of us love dogs in general, others have a particular breed they prefer. But why adopt a Greyhound?
