A big welcome to Perri.

Perri is a five year old Lurcher looking for an amazing home where someone will be around and would also benefit from a canine companion. Perri is 28″ tts and weighs in at 37kg.

Perri has been living in a lovely home for the last five years but due to a change of circumstances Perri’s family feel that a home where he would have more company and exercise would suit him better.

Please note that this decision has not been taken lightly by Perri’s family and the best interests of Perri have been put first.

Perri has energy, there is no denying that, but it is good energy. Some would call him goofy, that he is acting the maggot, and a pure eejit, but this boy is just bursting with love.

Perri has been seen by a canine behaviourist and the family are carrying out new training skills with him. Perri is very food orientated and he is very clever and will learn quickly.

Perri’s excitement levels can rise quickly with things like squeaky toys and playing tug of war. He can get over stimulated and whilst grabbing the tug toys can accidentally grab you too.

I was playing with him today and he was so good, when asked to drop his ball he was rewarded when doing so, we’d throw it and off he’d go for his zoomies around the garden.

The kind of family that we would love to find for Perri is an active one.

Preferably with no children, due to his size as they would be knocked over.

He is great with people and loves everyone, he is good with other dogs as long as they are introduced sensibly.

He does live with a cat in his home at the moment but it’s a love hate relationship. Perri loves the cat and wants to play but the cat does not like Perri sadly.

A family who would be interested in agility or man trailing would be good, so this can focus him and tire him mentally as well as physically.

This boy is a really lovely dog and I hope to find him a loving home soon. Perri is fully vaccinated , neutered and has a European passport.
