Rehoming Irish Greyhounds: Registered Charity Number 1167605
Storm

This beautiful boy is Storm, he is 6 1\2 years old
Approx weight 35 kg, so he isn’t a huge greyhound.
Storm arrived at the beginning of December, having been returned after NGR homed him 4 years ago.
Although he was rather nervous on arrival he settled in quickly. Storm is clean indoors, quiet at night and good on the lead.
He isn’t so keen to be left during the day, he isn’t destructive, just unsettled.
Since he arrived in his foster home with Debbie & Simon storm has had a full dental.
We also decided to x-ray Storm, as he seemed to be in some discomfort upon laying down and was grizzly if you had to nudge him out of the way.
It has transpired that poor Storm was born with hip dysplasia, and has been in pain his whole life. Which is super sad, can you imagine being in pain for all those years, full of stiffness and unhappy ?
Storm is now on a prescription of metacam on a daily basis and he is ( to say the least ) a changed dog.
Storm is your typical greyhound with 5 great loves – food, cuddles, short walks, sleep and snacks, which he takes really gently.
Ideally Storm requires a quiet home with a garden to potter around in and someone majority of the time. A retired person/couple would be great for Storm, as he is the most affectionate boy.
